The online e-learning course of Level 1, Keeping children Safe, is available to all governors and trustees free of charge with the expectation that all those involved with school or academy governance undertake this training as part of the requirements of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2023. This should be undertaken on induction and periodically updated at least every three years.

The online Keeping Children Safe (Level 1) training guidance has been provided in partnership with Bolton College.
