This session aims to explain recruitment and selection procedures which should be used for all posts. It includes current legislation and policies you need to be aware of during the process. By the end of this session, you will
- Understand the key stages of the recruitment process
- Understand your role in recruitment and selection
Audience:
All governors, trustees, local governors and staff of schools and academies, particularly those likely to be involved with staff recruitment and selection.
NB: Any delegate wishing to complete the accredited Safer Recruitment course must first attend this session followed by Module 2.
Format:
This course will be a recorded video session. This will be released to you on the dates advertised and available to view via the secure Bolton Governance Gateway website. Notification will be made via email. You can view the recording at your leisure after this date.
Pricing
Fees for this session are payable via the school budget and not by individual members of the governing board. If your governing board has signed up to the Governance Training Service Level Agreement, sessions are free of charge, for Governors only. School staff and Governors of governing boards who have not signed up to the Governance Training Service Level Agreement may attend for a fee of £98 per session.
