Overview of Learning
This is a half-day refresher session for anyone wishing to renew their Safer Recruitment accreditation training.
NB: Any delegate wishing to complete this course must be in possession of a Safer Recruitment certificate, NCSL, CWDC or DfE certificates accepted. By the end of the session you will:
- Have received an update on understanding the process for dealing with allegations against staff working with children and young people
- Updated your safer recruitment knowledge.
All governors, trustees, local governors and senior leaders of schools and academies likely to be involved with staff recruitment and selection.

This course will be held in person at the Bolton Science and Technology Centre.
Pricing and Cancelation
Fees for this session are payable via the school budget and not by individual members of the governing board. This half day session is charged at £175 and is not included as part of the Governance Training and Development SLA.
If you are unable to attend a course, we ask that you please notify the Governance Services Team on 01204 332116 at the earliest opportunity and at least five working days prior to the course date to enable the place to be offered to others.
Cancellation fees will apply for non-attendance or if a place is cancelled by the delegate within five working days of the course date. Delegates that do not attend or provide cancellation within the 5 prior to the date will be charged the full cost of the course. Fees may be waived in exceptional circumstances.
